Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess therapeutic progress, discuss stability, and plan for any necessary discharge.

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans that align with the goals and needs of each client.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments for every client encounter.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, adapting techniques and strategies to best serve the client’s needs.

• Participate in individual supervision to reflect on practice and pursue professional development opportunities.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a youth population facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other emotional disturbances. You will engage with clients in age-appropriate modalities, ensuring that therapy is tailored to their developmental stage and individual circumstances. You will also have the chance to work collaboratively with families and caregivers, emphasizing the importance of a support system in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

• Strong ability to meet requirements for internal credentialing within relevant clinical settings.

• Minimum one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience conducting assessments, providing diagnosis, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Proficient in computer usage with basic keyboarding skills for documentation and communication purposes.
