This role is entirely remote, giving you the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home office or location of choice within Washington state. Our outpatient office remains available for client meetings when preferred or required, so hybrid service delivery is an option. You will utilize advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and track progress efficiently. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Telecare, your role will include the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status during initial consultations.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Engage clients in regular therapeutic sessions, providing them with coping strategies and resources.

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they remain relevant to client needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging shared experiences and fostering a supportive community.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, providing referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists when needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions within our EHR systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served at Telecare Counseling Center is diverse, encompassing individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will work with adolescents, adults, and families, employing culturally sensitive approaches to understand and address their unique situations. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and available treatment modalities.

• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques, demonstrating the capability to manage challenging client behaviors effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to formulate strong therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficient use of EHR systems and basic office software applications.

• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

Telecare Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
