Business Operations Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the engineering and technology sector, is seeking a Business Operations Project Manager to join their team. As a Business Operations Project Manager, you will be part of the Corporate Business Operations department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, adaptability, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Business Operations Project Manager

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $62/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Coordinate recurring operating cadences such as operational reviews and governance forums, tracking action items and ensuring follow-up to closure

• Prepare and maintain leadership-facing materials including decks, dashboards, and status reports that synthesize input from multiple functional owners

• Help establish or refine lightweight governance processes for cross-team decision-making and escalation

• Maintain and improve resource management tools and trackers used across the organization

• Identify inefficiencies in operational workflows and propose practical solutions to enhance efficiency and transparency

What's Needed?

• BS or MS degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related fields with a focus on project management

• 6-8 years of experience in corporate business operations, chief of staff roles, or similar operational functions

• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams

• Comfortable working with ambiguity and capable of building processes and structures from scratch

• Proficiency with productivity and reporting tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and project trackers
