Receptionist
Core Staffing
Our client, a global investment management firm, is seeking a full time, experienced professional to manage the front desk and reception area and support the office environment and staff. This position will handle core administrative duties as well as a broad array of other responsibilities including facilities management and special ad hoc projects.
This is a contract role (3-months) that reports onsite 5 days per week, 8AM-5PM.
An Office Coordinator will:
- Answer phones for office of approximately 50+ employees
- Welcome guests
- Parking validation management and ordering
- Maintain the appearance of the reception area and lobby, two office kitchens and five conference rooms (keep clean, order groceries/supplies, etc.)
- Assist Management and Coordinator team with various tasks (pick up/set up client lunches, prepare rooms for client/prospect meetings onsite, etc.
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail
- Work closely with Building office and internal facilities team to ensure office repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Ad hoc projects (participate in event coordination for the office, management of weekly visitor schedule, etc.)
- Office supply/pantry order and management
- Tech support backup as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of receptionist or administrative experience in a corporate or professional office
- Polished and professional approach towards their job and the firm
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal staff, guests and vendors
- Individuals who are client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Strong computer skills for assisting staff on a variety of projects, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Helpful and patient personality, with the ability to be flexible
$28 - $29 per hour
