CFO

A large international manufacturing company headquartered in Columbus is seeking a seasoned CFO. If you are a proven financial leader who enjoys working in a high-growth and fast-paced environment, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

As the CFO you will:

• Provide leadership and financial direction to the finance department.
• Contribute as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing long and short-range goal setting and strategic direction for the organization.
• Guide financial decisions and protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as internal controls.
• Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Prepare special reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing financial data, information, and trends.
• Maintain results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

What you have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. An MBA is highly desirable
• 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Operations, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• CPA required
• Substantial accounting and finance knowledge and prior experience in a small company is desired
• Solid understanding of GAAP and US taxation rules
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, margin analysis, and the ability to develop a system of management cost reports
