Role Description

Develop, manage, and execute a customer-focused content publishing strategy for electronic/print clinical review periodicals and other clinical content in the individual and institutional markets. Clearly define the content development plan, including text, format, and multimedia components for all applicable modes of delivery. Accountable for the on-time delivery of product, management and achievement of budget, schedules, reporting, and contract negotiation. Engage in product and process innovation.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of issues, trends, needs, and preferences of user base.
• Experience in user research and social media engagement.
• Strong network of high-quality contacts, including potential authors/editors and opinion leaders.
• Knowledge of competitive offerings in both print and electronic formats.
• Awareness of the changing healthcare and technology landscape.

Requirements

• Leverage existing content and platforms to maximize return on investment.
• Create innovative approaches to content types and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to address content gaps.
• Conduct user surveys and focus groups to gauge content usefulness.
• Prepare year-end financial analyses for assigned products.
• Establish editor contractual obligations in line with financial product plans.
• Work with colleagues to ensure timely manuscript delivery and publication.
• Collaborate with Content Development and Production for global products.
• Work with Marketing and Sales to promote products and develop marketing plans.

Benefits

• National Base Pay Range: $59,200 - $98,600 (geographic differentials may apply).
