Thrive Mental and Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Amarillo, Texas. Remuneration for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate group, family, couples, and individual therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for open dialogue and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that all records reflect the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to remain abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and more. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will be encouraged to leverage your skills in providing culturally competent care that respects their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is required.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from all walks of life.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies that assist in record-keeping and client management.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
