Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Lincroft, New Jersey. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and design tailored treatment plans for patients with various functional limitations and disabilities, ensuring a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough assessments that include reviewing pertinent medical histories, performing specific clinical tests, and documenting results accurately to inform treatment decisions.
• Implement effective treatment strategies based on each patient's unique evaluation findings and progress, adapting approaches in response to changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes, ensuring all changes in patient conditions are documented and proper modifications to care plans are made as necessary.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care by documenting patient progress and outcomes clearly, which includes writing comprehensive discharge summaries and tracking ongoing treatment goals.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to physical therapy practice, as well as corporate policies and clinical service training requirements.
• Engage in facility meetings and contribute to discussions focused on removing barriers to patient access and enhancing service delivery across the rehabilitation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work primarily with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to help individuals regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient evaluations and treatment protocols.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and effective emergency response.

Preferred Experience

While two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized treatment methodologies or advanced physical therapy techniques, further enhancing our capacity to deliver outstanding care.

Compensation and Benefits
