• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, voice, language, and swallowing targets.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and family members to design cohesive care plans.
• Educate patients and families to foster progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, assuring a continuum of care.
• Keep precise documentation that meets all state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through continuing education and peer interactions.

Educational Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
