Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a designated caseload of students, conducting thorough evaluations to identify social, emotional, and financial challenges that may affect their academic and personal success.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address high-risk psychosocial issues, emphasizing a systematic approach to therapeutic modalities.

• Provide crisis intervention services to students and their families, collaborating with education professionals to create supportive strategies for managing emotional distress.

• Educate families and caretakers about available resources, including social services, mental health support, and educational programs, facilitating their navigation through complex systems.

• Coordinate with healthcare teams and community agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to enhance the overall care provided to students.

• Supervise interns and junior social workers, offering guidance and oversight in case management practices while contributing to the development of departmental standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the social work department.

• Ensure timely response to psychosocial service requests, minimizing delays in treatment implementation and facilitating positive student outcomes.

• Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions, ensuring the rights and needs of students and families are prioritized.

• Be available on occasion for crisis management at schools, necessitating brief on-campus visits when urgent issues arise.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

• Must hold a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, preferably within educational environments.

• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

MemorialCare offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
