Litigation Associate Attorney for AI Training [Remote]

Provide litigation and transactional legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for a prominent client. This remote contractor role focuses on analyzing litigation matters and transactional documents across M&A, private equity, and capital markets, with attention to data privacy and regulatory issues. No prior AI experience is required, the emphasis is on high-quality legal subject matter knowledge and clear, well-reasoned contributions.

• Research and analyze litigation matters involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets.
• Draft, review, and assess contracts and a broad range of legal documents to identify issues and ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Provide subject matter feedback on hypothetical and real-world legal scenarios to support the development of AI models.
• Evaluate data privacy and regulatory compliance questions, identifying potential risks and best practices relevant to AI training data.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams of legal and technical professionals, contributing clear, documented legal analysis.
• Participate in remote discussions and reviews, and adapt legal input to evolving project requirements.

• Required: Juris Doctor or equivalent from a leading US law school, and active membership in a United States bar.
• Recent experience at a top-tier US law firm, with practice in litigation, M&A, private equity, or capital markets.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and interpret complex contracts and transactional documents.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and their implications for technology and digital assets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and precision.
• Comfort and experience with remote collaboration and working in cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: experience providing rubric-based legal analysis or structured feedback.
