Sheet Metal Superintendent

Orange County, CA We are working with a well-established mechanical contractor in Southern California that is seeking a Sheet Metal Superintendent to oversee commercial HVAC projects across Orange County and the greater LA market. This is a key leadership role within the field team, ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership and communication skills. The company is experiencing steady growth and is looking to bring in a Superintendent who can elevate team performance, improve field coordination, and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation projects Lead and coordinate field crews across multiple job sites Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and ownership groups Drive productivity, safety, and team accountability in the field Support planning, scheduling, and manpower allocation Foster a positive team environment and mentor Foremen and field personnel Project Experience Ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvements Strong exposure to commercial projects, particularly in healthcare and life sciences environments Experience coordinating with GCs and owners on active job sites What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Superintendent, Lead Foreman, or Senior Foreman in commercial HVAC/sheet metal Strong communication skills and ability to lead field teams effectively Experience with ductwork installation (rectangular duct systems) and air distribution systems Solid understanding of HVAC systems, airflow, and mechanical schematics Demonstrated career progression (Journeyman to Foreman to Superintendent or similar) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment Nice to Have Exposure to service-side HVAC operations Experience working on complex or regulated environments such as healthcare or pharmaceutical Why This Opportunity Strong pipeline of commercial work across Southern California Leadership role with visibility and impact Opportunity to step into a key position and drive team performance Interview Process Initial virtual interview with corporate team Final interview with executive leadership (virtual or in‑person) #J-18808-Ljbffr
