Innovation and application expertise are the cornerstones of our identity and the fuel for our growth.The RSM position is an outside sales position where the RSM is responsible for managing all aspects of a defined geographic sales territory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to increase sales. They will bring value to our distributor partners and their customers by solving industries’ most demanding challenges. They sell solutions and services that work, they don’t take sales orders. Our service model could best be described as “We find ways to say YES!” We only hire the best and brightest people, individuals that want to be the experts in their field.***PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES***Regional Sales Manager will have ownership of a defined geographic territory. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:* Lead and manage manufacturer representative sales force* Cover a multi-state territory, requiring 50% - 75% travel* Implement and execute the national sales strategy* Identify potential end-users account, secure product specification and drive sales through distribution* Lead product training for partners* Joint sales calls with distributor partners***QUALIFICATIONS***The ideal candidate will have:* Bachelor’s Degree or significant industry experience* Metal product experience* Mechanically inclined – willing to work in industrial settings* 2-5 years outside industrial sales***COMPETENCIES**** Analytical Ability/Problem Solving/Decision Making* Communication skills* Time Management/Planning/Organizing* Safety* Values, Trust and Integrity* Reliable and Dependable* Continuous Learning* Customer Focus* Quality* Relationship Management* Team Effectiveness/coaching* Business Knowledge* Computer Skills* Interpersonal/relationship skills* Sense of urgency/Entrepreneurialism* Accountability/Ownership***PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**** 50% - 75% Overnight travel* Valid Driver’s License with limited moving violations* Need to live in their territory*Hose Master is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
