Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Empathic Sage Counseling, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couple therapy sessions, with a focus on collaborating with clients to identify and achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to the unique needs of each family and individual.
\n
• Managing cases with complex family dynamics, taking a holistic approach to address issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflict resolution among family members, and communication difficulties.

• Developing comprehensive treatment plans and maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
\n
• Engaging in regular supervision and consultation with colleagues to promote clinical development and enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will cater to a diverse clientele, including couples, individuals, and families dealing with a variety of challenges such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• A history of physical or psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss as well as the associated adjustment periods.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members, including sibling rivalry and parent-child communication.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for the LMFT position at Empathic Sage Counseling, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
