Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide weekly, evidence-based psychotherapy through synchronous live video sessions tailored to adults coping with a range of emotional disorders common in hospice care, including depression, anxiety, and grief.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, working closely with medical professionals, hospice staff, and other therapists to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments and employ data-driven insights to monitor client progress, ensuring therapeutic approaches are aligned with individual goals and needs.

• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation through our intuitive therapist portal, which incorporates advanced digital tools designed to streamline your documentation processes and enhance communication with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on servicing adults facing terminal illnesses and their families, providing psychosocial support during transitional life stages. You will engage with clients dealing with complex emotional responses related to grief, loss, and preparation for end-of-life experiences, ensuring that they receive compassionate and tailored support throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• An independent license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State is required; additional state licensure is advantageous.

• Proven ability to provide therapeutic interventions grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.
