In your role as an LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each patient's mental health needs and devising personalized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based interventions.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to address a range of mental health issues.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with HIPAA compliance and other relevant standards to ensure the safety and confidentiality of patient information.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to create integrated treatment strategies and participate in case consultations aimed at enhancing the quality of care.

• Providing education and resources to patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community support services that can empower them during difficult times.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices and new research in mental health.

Your work will focus on individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families, addressing complex emotional needs such as anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and active LCSW license in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health services, particularly in hospice or palliative care environments.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and their families.

We would highly value candidates with experience working in remote settings, or those familiar with telehealth practices, as well as individuals who have engaged with diverse populations and complex mental health cases. Prior work with end-of-life issues or grief counseling is a plus.
