Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine developmental needs.
\n
• Play an active role in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique situation.
\n
• Collaborate with team members to monitor child progress and overall outcomes.
\n
• Provide direct support to families, delivering essential resources and strategies designed to enhance their child's development.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations to maintain compliance and uphold organizational standards.
\n
• Build strong rapport with children and their families, creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices in joint planning with families and recommend appropriate strategies for child's growth.
\n
• Employ the coaching model and advocate for Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Regularly evaluate IFSP execution and adjust service frequency according to development status and family priorities.
\n
• Ensure all operations uphold health and safety standards for the children served.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on supporting children in early intervention, particularly those facing developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with infants and toddlers, as well as their families, helping facilitate their growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. The compassionate support provided by the LCSW is crucial in offering families the tools they need to foster their child's potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the Department of Public Health.

• Minimum of one year of experience working in early intervention services, particularly with children and families.

• Proficient skills in adapting therapeutic techniques to fit diverse learning styles and treatment plans.
