Operations Manager

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all facility operations, including daily production, equipment readiness, process efficiency, environmental and safety compliance, and the Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures that production runs efficiently, customer quality requirements are met, and all operations comply with applicable regulatory and company standards.

\n

The Operations Manager works closely with the production team to coordinate daily workloads, optimize processing capacity, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility.

Production and Facility Operations:

\n

\n
• Oversee all facility operations to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent production.
\n
• Ensure equipment, processing lines, and facility resources are properly maintained and ready for daily production.
\n
• Plan and coordinate daily anodizing runs based on production schedules, customer requirements, and available capacity.
\n

\n

Quality Management System:

\n

\n
• Maintain oversight and responsibility for the facility's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
\n
• Track, manage, and analyze rework to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Document and manage nonconformances, corrective actions, and follow-up activities to ensure timely and effective resolution.
\n
• Ensure adherence to approved work instructions, process sheets, and established quality procedures.
\n

Environmental, Health, and Safety Compliance:

\n

\n
• Ensure facility operations comply with applicable OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
\n
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements related to metal finishing, chemical handling, hazardous waste management, workplace safety, and environmental protection.
\n

Qualifications and Experience:

\n

\n
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or metal finishing is preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of anodizing and related metal finishing processes preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and quality trend analysis.
\n
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations.
