Description
Drive new business growth across the US and Canada for Solomon's industrial AI vision portfolio, covering 2D inspection, surveillance, and 3D robotic vision applications. This role pairs strategic outbound account development with management of approximately 50 qualified inbound inquiries per month generated from Solomon's SEM, SEO, and content marketing channels.

Work Authorization
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. Solomon is unable to sponsor visas for this position.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Drive outbound development across automotive, electronics, semiconductor, EV battery, and general manufacturing accounts in the US and Canada
- Own and convert approximately 50 qualified inbound inquiries per month from Solomon's SEM, SEO, and marketing channels with fast response, structured qualification, and disciplined pipeline progression
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close, including technical discovery, solution scoping, commercial negotiation, and post-sale account growth
- Develop and execute a clearly defined territory and account plan for North America
- Attend and host booths at major automation trade exhibitions (Automate, IMTS, The Vision Show, Pack Expo, and similar)
- Present Solomon's solutions at industry trade shows, technical conferences, and customer events
- Travel to Asia HQ on an annual or semi-annual basis for product training, roadmap updates, and cross-regional alignment
- Collaborate with application engineering and product teams to scope customer-specific solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and account activity in CRM, including timely follow-up on all inbound leads
- Conduct competitive research on alternative machine vision and inspection solutions to position Solomon effectively
- Provide market and customer feedback to inform product direction
Minimum Skills & Abilities
Skills / Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in machine vision, with exposure to one or more of the following: 2D industrial inspection, surveillance, or 3D vision for robotics
- Track record of identifying and closing new business in technical B2B environments
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills
- Ability to break down technical concepts into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences (engineering, operations, executive)
- Disciplined inbound lead management — fast response times, structured qualification, and consistent CRM hygiene
- Confident public speaker and presenter, comfortable on the trade show floor and in customer-facing technical conversations
- Proficiency with CRM and standard business software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
- Self-directed and able to manage a multi-state territory independently
- Technical background or familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or imaging is preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree required. Senior-level sales experience in machine vision, industrial automation, or a closely related technical field.
