Senior Financial Planning Analyst

A large, well-established membership organization is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-impact FP&A team reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning and executive communication, with ownership across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and a NetSuite Planning & Budgeting implementation. It is a strong fit for an FP&A professional who is equally comfortable in the model and in the room presenting to senior leadership. Highlights Base salary $100K-$120K depending on experience Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite in Chicago Direct reporting line to the VP of FP&A with high executive visibility Primary driver of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting buildout and adoption Mission-driven organization with a collaborative, people-first culture Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision Responsibilities Lead development of annual budgets and long-range forecasts, partnering with department heads to gather inputs and challenge assumptions Own and deliver monthly management reporting packages to senior leadership, including variance analysis and actionable commentary Build out and serve as internal subject matter expert for the NetSuite Planning & Budgeting platform, including user training and change management support Serve as a dedicated finance business partner to key departments, providing modeling support and ongoing performance insights Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the financial plan and bring forward recommendations to leadership Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure data integrity and reporting consistency Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; MBA or CFA a plus 2+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience with a track record of owning complex analytical work streams end-to‑end Exceptional financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency Hands‑on experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting strongly preferred Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools Strong executive presence with the ability to present confidently to senior leadership and field questions in the room Highly organized and self‑directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently A well‑rounded opportunity for an FP&A professional who wants real ownership, consistent executive exposure, and the chance to shape how a large organization manages its financial performance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
