Work Environment\n

This position is designed for full-time engagement within a remote work setting, granting flexibility and allowing you to create a work-life balance while serving our clients. Though your primary interactions will occur online, you will work closely with your colleagues in an outpatient office model designed to maximize support and collaboration. Traditional office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients through video sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and solution-focused interventions to create tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in addressing their mental health issues.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records for each client, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards.

• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enrich the therapeutic approaches and maintain high standards of care.

• Provide education and support to individuals and their families regarding mental health conditions and available resources in the community for enhanced care and reintegration.

• Continuously update your knowledge on latest research findings, therapeutic methods, and compliance requirements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including adults coping with anxiety, depression, and effects of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license in the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Expertise in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and the ability to adapt interventions to address individual client needs effectively.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills alongside excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
