Litigation Paralegal

Nesco Resource has partnered with a well-established full-service law firm in Uniondale, NY in seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative legal environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced handling litigation documentation. Experience supporting Labor & Employment matters is a plus.
Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, compare, and format legal documents
• Prepare and manage electronic court filings
• Create Tables of Authority, indexes, and hyperlink legal filings
• Perform extensive PDF editing and document redaction
• Reformat manuals and related legal documentation
• Utilize Excel for data entry, table creation, and document comparison
• Assemble binders, manuals, and case materials
• Maintain calendaring and docketing of court deadlines
• Work within document management and attorney timekeeping systems
• Support four attorneys in a busy litigation practice

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary with litigation skills or related area
• Strong legal document formatting and proofreading skills
• Experience with document management and attorney time keeping software
• Experience with state and federal e-filing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
