NEW IN - Commercial Litigation Associate | Complex Disputes | 📍 Southern California Hybrid | 💼 Complex litigation in state and federal courts

A confidential national law firm is seeking a commercial litigation associate to join its expanding disputes practice in Southern California. This role is designed for an attorney who enjoys complex, fast-moving litigation, strong writing and motion practice, and the chance to support matters in state and federal courts, including trial-level and appellate work.

THE ROLE

• Draft and respond to pleadings, written discovery, and subpoenas

• Take and defend depositions and assist with witness preparation

• Handle significant motion practice, including dispositive motions

• Support hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation

• Assist with appellate briefing and related research where needed

• Collaborate with partners and teams to develop litigation strategy and manage deadlines

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Southern California

Schedule:

Hybrid, in office 3 days per week

Compensation:

Base salary range: $230,000 to $305,000

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 6 years of litigation experience

• Active California bar admission (in good standing)

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Excellent legal writing skills, strong attention to detail, and strong academic credentials

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Experience in one or more of the following: commercial litigation, consumer class actions, financial services litigation, media and entertainment disputes, and product liability litigation

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and or a profit-sharing bonus program
