Work Environment\n

This position will be performed in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining direct access to our outpatient office resources. Our remote structure promotes work-life balance while ensuring that our counselors can effectively engage with clients. The practice operates primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some required flexibility to meet the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to guide treatment planning that aligns with the individual needs of patients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to reflect patients' cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a range of mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary care teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's care plan.

• Offering immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and health stability.

• Educating patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower active participation in their own care.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending case conferences, and participating in cultural competency training sessions.

• Staying current with research, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong cultural competence and a deep commitment to inclusivity and diversity within your practice.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n
