Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon – 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue – 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed – 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur – 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri – 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, common areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to verify authorized entry and directing individuals to the appropriate location as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
