Job Overview Working alongside the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will be an integral part of the team, responsible for organizing and delivering tailored, age-appropriate care to patients. This role involves maintaining a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes and ensuring that patients' physiological responses during surgery align with expectations in the surgical suite and throughout the perioperative division. Qualifications Required: High School diploma or equivalent Completion of a Surgical Technician training program 2 to 3 years of relevant experience Strong proficiency in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently Certifications and Licenses Required Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) is mandatory Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required Scheduling Requirements 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Every other weekend and holiday Full-time position Benefits and Perks Our organization offers a competitive Total Rewards package that includes a wide range of benefits and resources aimed at supporting the physical, emotional, social, and financial well-being of our employees.
