Residential Services Coordinator

At Project HOME, your work has purpose. Every role contributes to our mission of empowering individuals to achieve stability, wellness, and self-determination. As a Residential Services Coordinator , you will support individuals on their recovery journey by providing person-centered case management, advocacy, and resource coordination in an LGBTQ+-affirming residential environment. Through compassionate engagement and collaborative planning, you'll help residents build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to achieve long-term housing stability and independent living.

  • Location: Francis House of Peace, 810 Arch St. Phila, PA 19107
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Compensation: up to $23/hour, based on experience
What You'll Do

Support Resident Recovery

  • Build trusting relationships and provide person-centered support to residents throughout their recovery journey.
  • Develop individualized recovery plans with residents that promote wellness, housing stability, and self-sufficiency.
  • Respond to crisis situations using sound judgment and appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and recovery-oriented living environment.
Coordinate Services

  • Connect residents with housing, employment, healthcare, behavioral health, education, benefits, and other community resources.
  • Support residents in maintaining housing stability and meeting program expectations.
  • Assist with housing applications, documentation, transfers, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to coordinate care.
Build Community

  • Plan and facilitate recovery-focused groups and community-building activities.
  • Encourage resident engagement, peer support, and skill development.
  • Serve as a resource for residents while promoting independence and self-advocacy.
Documentation & Program Support

  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation, including assessments, case notes, and goal plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.
  • Provide program support in the absence of leadership, as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for program emergencies.
What You'll Need

Education & Experience


One of the following is required:

  • High school diploma or GED and four years of related experience
  • Associate degree and two years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree
In addition, you should have:
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, or similar populations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to learn electronic case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
What You May Bring

  • Experience in supportive housing or residential services.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, or recovery-oriented practices.
  • Experience facilitating groups or life-skills programming.
  • Familiarity with housing resources, public benefits, or community-based services.
  • Experience working in LGBTQ+-affirming environments.
