Work Environment

• Your work will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, with a structured schedule that includes 40 hours per week of dedicated service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose and evaluate the mental health status of patients, utilizing diagnostic tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the cultural diversity and unique needs of the patient population you serve.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, applying interventions and adjustments to support mental health diagnoses effectively.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive treatment records and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to establish treatment objectives that align with their goals and values, fostering a supportive environment for healing.

• Coordinate referrals and maintain strong relationships with other clinicians and treatment providers to facilitate holistic care.

• Engage in educational activities by mentoring students and interns, enhancing their professional development in the field of social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice in New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in oncology or working with patients affected by chronic illnesses is highly desirable, equipping you with a nuanced understanding of this patient population.

Compensation and Benefits
