Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic impairments, utilizing comprehensive assessments to determine individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans employing various techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices aimed at improving functionality.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting improvements and setbacks meticulously to inform ongoing treatment modifications and ensure patient goals are met.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and proper use of assistive devices, while also providing training to caregivers and other health team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and foster a shared understanding of patient needs and progress.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments by attending workshops and engaging in professional networks to enhance personal and organizational knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting musculoskeletal function. The diverse patient demographic will require a tailored approach, where your expertise will be crucial in supporting patients from all walks of life to regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctorate in the field.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
• A flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to varied patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, any relevant clinical experience, especially in orthopedic rehabilitation, will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
