Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide tailored individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on establishing measurable objectives and real-life outcomes that contribute to improved mental and relational health.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments that delve into each client’s emotional and relational concerns, utilizing diagnostic techniques to inform treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT in this role will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our patients range from children and adolescents to adults and families navigating significant life transitions. By employing trauma-informed care strategies, you will be well-equipped to address the complexities of each client’s unique background and circumstances, guiding them towards healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT in the state of Virginia.

• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate a therapeutic alliance.

• Proficiency in clinical judgment and the ability to consult with peers as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

• Experience in trauma-informed interventions and working with families during crises is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of clinical experience in a similar role, having developed significant skills in individual and family therapy. Familiarity with digital health tools and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous.
