Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support a large-scale Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform programme. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, data engineers, developers, software engineering teams, business intelligence specialists, and project teams to produce clear, accurate, and maintainable technical documentation. \n\nThe primary focus of this role is to document Microsoft Fabric platform configuration, Power BI semantic models, Azure Data Services, engineering processes, operational procedures, technical standards, and solution architecture. The Technical Writer will be responsible for transforming complex technical concepts into well-structured documentation that supports knowledge transfer, operational readiness, platform support, governance, and long-term maintainability. \n\nThe role requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional documentation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with subject matter experts to capture and document technical knowledge. The position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering and will support engineering teams responsible for the delivery and operation of enterprise data and analytics solutions. \n\nTargeting $44 an hour W2
