Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking experienced candidates for the role of Sterile Processing Technician. The position involves decontaminating all surgical items, including drills and scopes. Candidates will be responsible for the assembly of instruments across all service lines. Experience in sterilization processes, both Sterrad and steam, is essential. Candidates should be well-versed in high-level disinfection and scope processing. The Sterile Processing Technician must have experience with sterile storage and liaising with the operating room. Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system is required. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in a facility comparable in volume and complexity. This position may require work on weekends and occasional holidays. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to a safe healthcare environment through proper sterilization techniques. The Sterile Processing Technician will also serve as a clinical liaison between departments to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation. This position is essential in ensuring that all medical supplies and instruments are properly sterilized and available for procedures.
