Work Environment\n

This role provides the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to serve clients from the comfort of your own space while being supported by a dedicated team. You will collaborate with other mental health professionals via telehealth platforms and participate in team meetings using digital communication tools. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct direct clinical assessments with clients experiencing mental health issues, and apply brief, evidence-based interventions tailored to their needs.

• Implement integrated care plans by coordinating services and support across various healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Manage a caseload of clients, performing individual, group, and family therapy sessions designed to aid in recovery and overall mental health improvements.

• Engage in crisis intervention as required, utilizing your expertise to navigate urgent situations promptly and effectively.

• Participate in team-based care models to discuss patient progress, address challenges, and strategize on therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and maintain rapport with clients and their families, ensuring a supportive and trusting therapeutic environment.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with established organizational standards and comply with ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a heterogeneous patient population, including children and families from under-resourced communities who are facing significant mental health challenges. Your role will involve understanding and respecting the diverse cultural backgrounds, belief systems, and traditions of your clients, which will directly influence your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• Expertise in conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and providing evidence-based treatments for mental health and emotional disorders.

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within diverse teams, displaying cultural competence in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapy for individuals and families is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
