Job Description Job Description The Accountant CPA will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the company's financial health through accurate reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation. This position demands a detail-oriented professional skilled in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, with solid knowledge of GAAP standards. The role focuses on internal financial processes without involvement in external audits or travel requirements. Responsibilities * Prepares, reviews, and interprets data for inclusion in financial reports, statements, and summaries. * Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations. * Analyzes and maintains all accounts receivable accounts, refund accounts, and deposit accounts. * Manage month-end closing; prepare journal entries * Monthly financial statements, including consolidation of multiple entities * Balance sheet reconciliations * Produce accurate and timely monthly financial statements * Reconcile and explain variances to monthly revenue projections by each branch * Prepare monthly commission reports * Fixed Assets and capital expenditure tracking * Weekly cash flow reporting; reviewing daily
