This role is designed as a remote position, allowing for flexibility and comfort while maintaining a focus on patient care and collaboration. While you will primarily work from home, regular virtual meetings with our medical team and administrative staff will facilitate teamwork and communication. The outpatient office setting is designed to provide support and resources effectively while managing a variety of patient challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to ensure seamless mental health treatment for patients, both within our facility and in external settings.

• Conduct mental health training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and effective intervention strategies.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, quickly addressing and defusing mental health emergencies that arise within the clinic.

• Attend commitment hearings as necessary, ensuring that appropriate care plans are being followed for individuals in need.
\n
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, establishing actionable goals and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations and medical record-keeping standards.
\n
• Verify patient mental health histories, including past treatments and medication regimens, to inform ongoing care strategies.
\n
• Prepare regular reports and specific documentation as required to support clinical operations.
\n
• Coordinate post-release referrals with nursing and mental health staff to ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning out of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Urban Arc Psychiatry Clinic, you will engage with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and chronic stress. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
