Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of clients across various demographics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.

• Effectively engage with clients through virtual platforms as well as in-person sessions, depending on client preference and clinical appropriateness.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case consultations to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.

• Dedicate time to continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and research in current mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCPC at Guidance & Growth Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys while striving to improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
