Estate Planning Associate Attorney

Overview A well-established Ohio firm is seeking an experienced associate (5+ years) to join its busy and highly regarded Trust & Estates practice in Columbus. This close-knit group handles a sophisticated mix of estate planning and probate matters, offering meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction from day one. This is an excellent role for an attorney looking to deepen their practice in a collaborative environment that values both technical expertise and client service. Responsibilities Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, fiduciary considerations, and tax-efficient planning approaches Support—and ideally lead—probate and trust administration matters, including court filings, inventories/accountings, and beneficiary communications Qualifications Juris Doctor and active bar admission in Ohio or eligible to become admitted Minimum 5+ years of experience in estate planning and related matters Strong writing, communication, and client-service skills About the Firm / Benefits 1800 billable hour expectation (inclusive of non-billable time) Competitive compensation with bonus structure Clear and realistic path to partnership Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and leave programs EEO / Application Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer.
