Medical Director MD Immunology
Neurocrine Biosciences
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and execution of Phase 1–3 clinical studies for immunology programs
- Serve as Sponsor Medical Monitor providing medical oversight and safety decisions throughout study conduct
- Develop clinical study protocols and contribute to broader clinical research strategy for assigned programs
- Analyze clinical data and translate findings into scientific insights for development teams and leadership
- Partner with Drug Safety, Clinical Operations, and other disciplines to assess emerging safety information
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with accredited residency training and board certification in relevant clinical specialty
- 2+ years clinical research and development experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic setting
- Clinical expertise in gastroenterology, dermatology, or immune-mediated disease specialty
- Experience as Medical Monitor and/or Study Lead for industry-sponsored clinical trials
- Demonstrated ability designing clinical studies, protocols, and selecting endpoints
- Knowledge of global drug development requirements, Good Clinical Practice, and regulatory expectations
