Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist at Trigger Physical Therapy is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Our team is known for its supportive and collaborative atmosphere, where communication is encouraged and valued. You will conduct sessions in a well-equipped treatment area, allowing you to utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Effectively manage a caseload of patients, providing each one with focused, individualized care while maintaining a patient throughput of approximately one patient per hour.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at enhancing motion and mobility.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes, while adhering to regulatory standards for record-keeping.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families, providing education and resources to support their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with fellow health professionals to create multidisciplinary approaches that optimize overall patient care and outcomes.
• Contribute to team meetings and quality improvement initiatives, sharing insights and recommendations for enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily include those recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will enhance their recovery through tailored physical therapy interventions that facilitate improvement in strength, range of motion, and functional abilities. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within outpatient orthopedic environments.
• A clean, unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a therapeutic approach tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility that emphasizes teamwork and interprofessional collaboration.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Certification in specialized therapy techniques such as Myofascial Release, Dry Needling, or Kinesiotaping is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
