Work Environment

This full-time position is conducted onsite in our clean, modern facility located in Spotswood, NJ. Our clinic features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, ensuring you have the tools necessary to deliver best-in-class patient care. As a pivotal member of our onsite team, you will collaborate closely with medical doctors, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat an average of three adult patients per hour, focusing on those between the ages of 40 and 65 who seek rehabilitation for orthopedic issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments and create customized treatment plans that encompass both physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Engage in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to guide patients through their recovery journey.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including MDs, OTs, NPs, and PAs, to ensure seamless coordination and communication regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation utilizing CureMD EMR to track patient progress and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on adult patients, particularly those aged 40 to 65, facing various orthopedic conditions. Many patients are recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain, requiring tailored interventions that address both physical functionality and pain management. As a Physical Therapist in our clinic, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients toward recovery and helping them regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Master's Degree preferred.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective patient interactions and education.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within outpatient care.
• Experience with outpatient techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 125,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
