Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed evaluations to assess mood disorder symptoms in clients, considering their history and individual circumstances.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective mental health interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, fostering a supportive and informed environment.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress on a regular basis, adjusting treatment plans in response to their ongoing needs and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical specialists to ensure an integrated and comprehensive care approach for clients.

• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about the latest research in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and meeting the unique needs of underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We focus on providing respectful and individualized care, especially for marginalized groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will play a crucial role in providing these clients with hope and viable pathways to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, enhancing their comfort and openness in therapy.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary to handle administrative responsibilities alongside client care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations and in various therapeutic settings will be considered an asset. Familiarity with mental health advocacy and community outreach programs is highly beneficial. We welcome applicants with skills in additional therapeutic modalities or experience in case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
