Cencora seeks an entry-level IT support specialist to manage endpoint device imaging, deployment, and maintenance across a single site. The role involves routine troubleshooting, asset management, and hardware configuration within established procedures under senior team supervision.
Responsibilities
- Execute imaging, deployment, and support tasks for laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals at assigned site
- Follow documented troubleshooting procedures to resolve routine local technology issues
- Manage endpoint devices within IT asset management procedures under senior team guidance
- Escalate unclear requirements or hardware risks before proceeding with ambiguous technical work
- Provide scheduled phone queue coverage for end-user support team rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Less than 2 years technical support, desktop support, or IT asset coordination experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft and Mac OS operating systems
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA ITF+, or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to work on-site with 10-15% travel to local distribution centers
- Physical capability to handle and set up IT equipment
Compensation: $52,000 - $81,620
