About the role: As our company continues to grow, the need for a skilled Software Application Development Manager becomes increasingly important. You will lead a team of developers, manage projects, and ensure the software development process runs smoothly. Key responsibilities Mentor and manage a team of software developers Set clear goals, provide guidance, and ensure deadlines are met Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment Ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous operation of software systems Address any technical issues promptly to minimize downtime Collaborate with other departments to meet service‑level agreements Evaluate team members’ performance regularly Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback Implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary Collaborate with PMO, architects, product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders Escalate risks and concerns effectively and timely Qualifications Minimum 10 years in software development within information technology, preferably in a highly regulated field such as insurance or finance At least 5 years of experience in a management role Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and web technologies Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, Azure services) Excellent supervisory and communication abilities; proven experience managing cross‑functional teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer.
