Financial Analyst

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong financial reporting, analytics, and systems skills to support a SAP S/4HANA-driven finance environment. This role is ideal for a finance professional who understands FP&A, accounting data, GL structures, and financial reporting processes while also bringing hands‑on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SQL, and/or Python to improve reporting, automate recurring analysis, and deliver better financial insights. Overview The ideal candidate will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, and Accounting stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, analyze financial data, build dashboards, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of recurring reporting processes. This is not a pure programming role, but the client needs someone who is technically strong enough to work directly with data, reporting tools, and automation. Compensation $90K – $110K Location Hybrid (2–3 days onsite in Plymouth Meeting, PA) Must Be A U.S. Citizen or a Green Card Holder (No Visa or EAD or other). Local to the Plymouth Meeting, PA area (No remote or relocation applicants). Must Have 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably in a SAP S/4HANA environment. Strong SQL and/or Python experience for financial reporting, data analysis, automation, reconciliation, or data validation. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or financial reporting. Strong understanding of financial data, including GL, cost centers, reporting hierarchies, budget/forecast data, and close‑related reporting. Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP‑based financial reporting environments. Experience building dashboards, reports, or financial models in SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Strong SQL skills for querying, extracting, validating, reconciling, or transforming financial data. Python experience for reporting automation, data cleanup, reconciliation, or analysis is strongly preferred. Ability to translate Finance / FP&A reporting needs into accurate, usable reporting solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with finance stakeholders. Responsibilities Support Finance, FP&A, and Accounting teams with recurring and ad‑hoc financial reporting. Analyze financial data related to actuals, budgets, forecasts, variances, and close activities. Build and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and related reporting tools. Work with SAP S/4HANA financial data, including GL, cost centers, reporting hierarchies, and other finance‑related data structures. Use SQL to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data needed for financial reporting. Use Python or similar tools to automate recurring reports, clean data, improve reconciliations, and reduce manual reporting effort. Partner with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions. Improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial reporting processes supporting budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and management reporting. Nice to Have Advanced SAP Analytics Cloud experience, including story building, dashboards, and data models. Exposure to complementary BI or automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
