On-Board Engineering is hiring a Turnaround Coordinator in Washington, WV! Position Details Position Type: Full Time / Contract (9+ months with possibility of extension) Job Location: Washington, WV Benefits: Health Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, 401k, Life Insurance Compensation: $49 - $62/hr depending on experience & qualifications Overview/Summary The TAR Capital Coordinator provides single-point contact for integration, readiness, and governance of all capital projects associated with the upcoming Spring 2027 Turnaround (TAR). This role bridges Capital Engineering, Turnaround leadership, Scheduling, and Site Operations to ensure capital scope is fully defined, aligned, and executable within TAR constraints. Key Responsibilities Maintain the authoritative portfolio of all TAR-related projects Coordinate with Project Managers to update TAR metrics Ensure alignment with TAR integration plans and readiness expectations Own capital participation in readiness reviews and post-TAR critiques Interface with TAR schedulers to validate scope and milestone inputs Provide portfolio-level reporting, risk identification, and escalation Out of Scope Individual project management execution Detailed schedule development Discipline engineering ownership Field construction management Required Qualifications Experience supporting turnaround (TAR) or outage-related capital project portfolios Strong cross-functional coordination skills Experience working in chemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline Familiarity with chemical processes, face sheet reviews, and KPIs Experience supporting multi-site or regional capital project portfolios In order to be considered for this role, you must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
