Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health challenges and personal histories.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.

• Provide teletherapy services to accommodate clients who may face accessibility challenges or prefer virtual interactions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes to uphold ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated with best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults presenting with various mental health needs. Special attention is given to individuals coping with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship challenges. Your ability to establish trust and empathy will be pivotal in fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine ability to connect with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward individuals experiencing distress.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively while prioritizing client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While all applicants with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply, experience in therapeutic practices involving children and adolescents or specific modalities such as trauma-focused therapy and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) would be advantageous. Prior experience working in community health settings is also a plus.

Englewood Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
