Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to engage directly with students and colleagues through virtual means. Regular virtual meetings, case discussions, and training sessions ensure that you stay connected and supported, even from a distance. The work schedule typically spans from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as needed to provide comprehensive mental health coverage for our student body.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine students' psychological needs and tailor interventions appropriately.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, aiming to promote their emotional well-being and academic success.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, to address mental health challenges faced by students.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing students with tools for emotional regulation and effective coping strategies.

• Engage with a team of mental health professionals—such as psychiatrists and psychologists—to coordinate care and ensure an integrated approach for student treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring appropriate referrals are made when necessary.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, fostering an understanding of the importance of mental health.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to both learn and share best practices, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of our mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Active and valid LCSW licensure in Texas is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
