We operate from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that therapy is accessible at times that fit our patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' history and needs effectively.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients articulate their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster recovery.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to patient needs.
\n
• Responding to crisis situations with immediate intervention, ensuring clients receive timely support during emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to remain at the forefront of trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing care to a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals coping with trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and anxiety disorders. Focusing on trauma recovery, you will work to cultivate resilience among clients and provide them with the tools they need to navigate their mental health challenges. Our approach emphasizes empathy, understanding, and support, allowing clients to feel safe and respected while addressing difficult topics in therapy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused treatment settings.

• A profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• The capability to remain composed in high-pressure situations, offering clients stability and reassurance.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
