Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Revenue Analyst to conduct comprehensive data reviews and analyses, transforming large sets of revenue data into strategic insights for executive leadership. The role involves auditing daily and weekly revenue data, translating raw numbers into actionable narratives, and advising on revenue cycle optimizations.


Key Responsibilities

• Data Review & Analysis: Evaluate large sets of revenue data, audit provided data, and extract insights.
• Storytelling & Strategic Reporting: Deliver findings on payer behaviors and internal issues for executive leadership.
• Variance Investigation: Investigate systemic overpayments/underpayments to uncover root causes.
• Proactive Advisory: Anticipate revenue cycle issues and pitch optimization scenarios to the C-suite.
• System Auditing: Conduct weekly reviews of practice management systems for data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle auditing, accounts receivable, or financial data analysis.
• Highly proficient in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Deep conceptual understanding of the entire claim lifecycle and payer landscapes.
• Familiarity with Commercial and Medicaid payer guidelines.
• Experience with healthcare billing and EHR networks; CentralReach experience is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle auditing, back-end accounts receivable, or financial data analysis.

Skills

• Technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, experience with healthcare billing and EHR networks.
• Soft skills: Strategic thinking, ability to transform data into actionable insights.
