Outside Sales Representative

This is an outstanding opportunity for a competitive professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on driving market growth and building strong customer relationships across the construction and building materials space.

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity offering a base salary ($55k-$60k) and bonus (OTE $80k-$100k in first year). Additionally this role offers a full benefits package including a monthly car allowance and gas card.

Responsibilities

• Territory Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to target new accounts, expand existing client spend, and boost market share across South/Central Florida.
• Field Sales & Business Development: Conduct frequent job site visits and cold calls to build long-term relationships with key contractor and developer decision-makers.
• Consultative Selling: Quote, negotiate, and close sales for concrete masonry units (CMUs), custom orders, and specialized services.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with inside sales and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely quotes and project delivery.
• Market Tracking: Monitor customer buying trends, track competitor pricing, and assist with accounts receivable collections as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Sales Drive: Competitive, aggressive self-starter mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven record of meeting targets.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the building contractor process, masonry, or commercial/residential construction is preferred.
• Licensing & Travel: Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle required for territory travel.
• Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
